Position Available

We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Generalist to join our team to facilitate various human resources programs. You will use Human Resources Information Systems to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential. Acting as the main point of contact for employees’ questions on HR-related topics.

Position Purpose

The HR Generalist is responsible for all leave of absence management, workers’ compensation administration, assisting with safety program, managing incident reports. Assists in Administration of the performance management process, and acts as a confidential resource to employees, supervisors, and managers regarding employee relations questions and issue resolution.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form

  • Assist in managing, facilitating, and developing our safety programs

  • Lead the talent acquisition and recruitment processes

  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives

  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves of absence, benefits, and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise

  • Maintain Human Resources Information System (HRIS) records and compiles reports from database.

  • Conduct recruitment effort for exempt, nonexempt and temporary employees; writes and places advertisements.

  • Facilitate new hire and on-boarding processes.

  • Monitor and coordinates performance appraisal programs. Facilitates review processes and trains employees on performance appraisal system.

  • Assist plant personnel with compensation decisions and coordinate wage and salary changes.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist

  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures

  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws

  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems preferred

  • Excellent communication and people skills

  • Aptitude in problem-solving

  • Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach

  • 4 year degree in Business administration or relevant field
